Before starting the training, you need to make a route. In this way, we will definitely know where we are going to get, what to do to achieve this and how long it will take. There are 3 main types of programs (curriculum):
The number of words, grammar and skill levels are built depending on the abilities and needs of a particular student.
You follow the general curriculum, standard word lists, standard grammar and standard skills in accordance with the chosen certificate.
There is almost no plan or standards. No quality control indicators. You simply learn whatever happens on your way concerning the area of your interest.
The program is a strategy. Find the most effective and shortest way to the goal.
Each program has 4 components:
1 PRINCIPLES – the main laws of the formation of something
2 METHODS – various approaches to the implementation of these principles depending on the circumstances
3 EXERCISES – specific practical steps of the chosen method
4 TECHNIQUES – how these exercises are performed
Principles are the main fundamental rules or laws. They are the base of the construction of any effective program or teaching method. Let’s divide all these essential rules into 10 main questions (from 3 categories):
Example:
– I work in the banking sector and I need to communicate with foreign partners;
– I will participate in an international conference, so I must give a speech using a foreign language;
– I intend to study in Spain in the field of art, so I must be prepared to study in Spanish.
If the teacher does not ask about your language learning goals, it means that you will have a regular program like any other student. There is nothing bad about it, but if you have some urgent goal and deep focus, then surely you must find an individual approach.
Now, depending on the chosen goal using Principle 1, we set the necessary lexical minimum. That is how many words we need to know to be ready for our goal.
In the case of a regular program, you will have all the basic words.
In the case of an individual program, you are going to have those words that are the most relative to your goal and only then all others.
The same applies to grammar. Depending on the chosen goal, we set the necessary grammar minimum. If you have a very tight deadline then your teacher must do everything to prioritize.
At this stage, we prioritize such language skills as reading, listening, speaking and writing.
In the case of a regular program, everything is clear and stable.
In the case of an individual program, your teacher decides what to master first considering your purpose.
Here we plan how to combine chosen languages if you need more than one.
To organize the educational process and create a program, you need to determine the exact time.
The duration of the entire study. How many months or how many weeks do you have?
Maybe you have a deadline?
In case you are short on time, a good teacher will do his best to tailor the program to your interests, leaving aside the grammar and vocabulary that you will need the least. Instead, focusing only on the most important things.
Here we determine the number of lessons per week, their duration.
There can be such load formats as group, individual and intensive.
Each form requires an appropriate amount of time and effort on your part.
Here we determine the student’s readiness for homework in general. And already in the second step, we establish a certain norm depending on the set goals and the availability of time.
Marketing manipulation – language at any comfortable time pluses and minuses. Flexible timetable and ability to move the lessons.
1. From the experience and quality of the student in studying previous foreign languages.
2. From the student’s intellectual abilities: attention, imagination, memory, analysis and systematization.
A universal principle works here: “The better student you are, the easier and more effective it is to work with you.”
In addition to everything, an experienced teacher looks at your psychological portrait and your intellectual abilities, at your experience of learning other foreign languages. All this is of great importance.
NOTE:
Constantly develop yourself as a Learner. A more effective Student has a better chance of getting a first-rate teacher and his attention.

As soon as we have received answers to the fundamental questions, the student or teacher can choose the most convenient and effective method.
So, “method” means “How to do it?”
During this stage we organize everything. So, basically, we create an appropriate environment for our education.
You choose the format: online, offline or somewhere in the open space
– What is the layout of the classes?
– What software?
– What computers and devices?
– What kind of furniture?
– Is it far or near?
– and so on.

In this step, we dive into practical steps. During choosing methods of developing skills we need to open every aspect of a language and write the list of exercises and activities that we are going to do. Note, that in this step you write out all efficient activities both that you already have tried or you’re planning to try.
1. VOCABULARY
You need to understand how you plan to learn words. What vocabulary skills to master and how to develop your mind abilities in attention, imagination and memory.
2. GRAMMAR
The same here. You need to know the exact ways of explaining the grammar and practicing it.
3. READING
Here you write the methods of working with texts.
4. SPEAKING
Write how you plan to improve your speaking skill.
5. WRITING
Approaches to building a great writing skill.
6. LANGUAGE COMBINATION
In this section, you write the methods on how you plan to master smooth switching and combination of several languages.
Exercises and techniques are detailed for each specific skill.
Just choose the topic you want on the “Multispeaker Skills” main page.
Depending on the chosen teaching methods, students are divided into certain types. If you are a student, knowing your type will allow you to adjust your studies. If you are a teacher, you will be able to interact more effectively with your students.
Let’s take step by step strategy on how to make a lesson plan.
Your skills and knowledge must be at least 30-40% higher than the level of the exam you plan to take.
