The test has 2 parts: written and oral
WRITTEN PART
Duration: 90 minutes
– you have 2 tasks
– in each task you must get a minimum passing score
– if you do not complete at least one task, then the whole written part
– considered to be failed
Total minimum passing score: 112 out of 140
1. Vocabulary
– you get 100 words in any order
– all words are taken from the official Multispeaker list
– you can see the words in the base language and have to translate them into the target language
Minimum passing score:
80% / 80 correct words out of 100
2.Grammar
– you get 40 tasks
– entering words or phrases in spaces
– choosing the right option
Minimum passing score:
80% / 32 correct answers out of 40

ORAL PART
Duration: 30 minutes
– you have 5 tasks
– You can make no more than 6 mistakes in each task
– If you exceed the number of errors in at least one task, the whole oral part is considered uncomplicated

1. Word definition
The examiner gives you 4 random words taken from the official list. You need to explain what this word means in 4-5 sentences.

2. Instruction
The examiner gives you one instruction taken from the official list. You have to tell these instructions: how to do something or how to use something.
Maximum number of mistakes: 6
3. Dialogue
The examiner gives you a situation for dialogue, taken from the official list. You have to play this dialogue together.
Maximum number of mistakes: 6
4. Reading / Listening + Retelling
You pull out a card indicating any audio or video. You have to listen and retell.

5. Translation
You draw a random card with text in the base language. You have to make an oral translation of this text.
